Anchorage - Beautiful Winter Wonderland
Yes, this time of the year is quite chilly, but for us locals, we enjoy the challenges it brings.

Alaska has definte seasons and we just follow them dragging out new tools each time, seems like we just finished mowing lawns and watering flowers and now no more flowers, just snow, snow, snow.

There is something refreshing about the snow - everything looks so clean and white. Trees glisten in the sunlight, and it really is quite beauti.....

Today the maintenance crew is quite busy snowplowing and moving snow piles into a centralized location - we are considering using the snow to build a gigantic snowman, with the assistance of the children in our parks.  

A couple of blocks away there is a 16 ft snowman and we might just have to go 17 ft to match that one.

It will be fun, and entertaining - stay tuned for the progress report!!
